Here’s my problem… instead of repeatedly insinuating that their so-called chemistry is a schoolgirl crush and having Jo deny the obvious each and every time, they should’ve just put it out there and have her confess, for goodness sake. She’s dead after all and it might’ve brought some closure on her part. Besides, it’s not like Dean doesn’t know. I don’t quite understand why the writers decided to continue to tease at this part especially since she isn’t a regular anymore and well, dead?! Kind of makes these reappearances rare.

How sad is it to have died and not have at least confessed to the one you loved? How much sadder is it that you are brought BACK from the dead to SEE the one you love and you STILL don’t confess?

It would’ve been so much better if this scene went something like this:

Jo: He was right about one thing…

Dean: What, your massive crush on me?

Jo: That obvious, huh?

*laughs it off, then both their smiles fade and the intense, sad, longing stares and glances continue*

I’ll pretend that’s what happened.

Maybe it would help Dean stop calling her a ‘kid’ after that as well. Jo obviously hates it and I don’t blame her. I’d be really pissed if someone kept calling me that every time.
